Childcare

Many families in Prince George are seeking information on daycares and preschools for their children. The Prince George and Area Child Care Resource and Referral Centre (CCRR) provides families and child care providers in the communities of Prince George, Vanderhoof, Fort St. James, Burns Lake, Mackenzie, McBride and Valemount with up to date information on what is available.

The Prince George and Area Child Care Resource and Referral Centre (CCRR)

• Provides parents with up to date information on the availability of quality childcare and the choices available to them in our community.
• Provides child care providers with consultation, professional development, training, networking, resources and referrals.
• Recruits new child care providers (license not required and licensed to increase child care spaces.)
• Provides child care providers, parents and community groups print resources and access to our toy and equipment resources and educational workshops.
• Offers drop-in programs.
• Promotes the rights of children so that they have safe, nurturing child care experiences.
