Children First has a small amount of money set aside for community groups or agencies to access for programs, services or one time events that address a recognized gap in Prince George. Funds are available for up to 3 years, on a decreasing scale, although the total amount granted is up to the discretion of the Children First Steering Committee. It is preferred that the grant proposal originate from one of the Children First Subcommittees. Multiple year funding is also contingent on Children First maintaining current funding levels in the coming years.

Children First Education Bursary

The goal of the Children First Bursary is to assist individuals with the cost of educational training that will assist them in improving the overall development of children 0-6 and their families in the Prince George community.
